STEPO:
A DOCUMENTARY

COMING 2024

A teenager in a small village in the occupied Kingdom of Montenegro stows away on a ship bound for America and finds himself searching for gold in the Klondike. Through untold hardships, he carves out a new life in the remote wilderness of Alaska and raises a family.

His oldest son is chosen to be the most powerful leader in the territory, but was selected for one reason: to convince the US President and Congress to end their American colonialism and bring Alaska into full US Statehood.

His opponents, however, knew that his efforts would not only bring about the creation of the 49th State, but would be the crucial tipping point for civil rights in segregated America - and they weren’t going down without a fight.
